24-Hours Container Studio

This is a 24-hours competition.                      Site: Banana Alley

 

We proposed a temporal installation of shipping container on the rooftop of an existing stretch of single storey warehouses of industrial heritage value. The shipping container arranged at multiple levels house different activities (cafe, nightclub, outdoor cinema, gallery, restaurant) through the day and night at a 24-hour basis to accomodate communities including road cleaners, youth, adult, children. Bluestone pavement at the exterior heightened the sense of an alley.
