Dualism
​

The brief seeks to revive the historical city of Yaroslavl. Design proposal is museum storage + public recreation that reveals the hidden gem of art and history by celebrating the dualism portrayed in the existing context; contrast between the inner and outer urban block and the contrast between the interior and exterior of Russian orthodox churches. Architecture response includes the preservation of axis, minimal openings and subtle height at the submerging terrain.
